Angular Cheilitis – Have you heard of it??

It is more common than you may think and you may of even suffered from it without realising!

Angular Cheilitis is the condition when you have inflammation (redness, soreness, patched of dry/cracked skin) of one or both corners of your mouth. The area of sensitive skin can even split and bleed if a person opens their mouth too wide, which can make eating, drinking, talking and even smiling uncomfortable. This condition can be caused by a variety of factors, from a yeast infection or vitamin deficiency to simple chapped lips.
